On November 16, 2001, the second annual Strengthening Communities Through Service & Volunteerism conference was held in Marlborough.  Over 500 people from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, New York, and Rhode Island attended the event which featured 36 workshops and Robert Goodwin (President and Chief Executive Officer of the Points of Light Foundation) as our keynote speaker.

The Massachusetts Service Alliance would like to thank our co-sponsors.  Without their support, this conference would not have been possible. 

In an effort to continue providing an exciting, informative conference, we have decided to hold this event every other year.  Our next conference will be held in the fall of 2003.  Stay tuned for more information.
